When an otherwise "good" person gets overrun by demons and they live and die that way

Years ago I met this incredibly charismatic, cheerful and seemingly ambitious person. However if I erase the decade plus knowing them and flash back to the very first day we met, and this is hard to explain but, I SAW the flash of their imminent self-destruction. I didn’t WANT to see this. It was weirdly prophetic and fortunately or unfortunately I’ve had such experiences my entire life. Anyhow, I erased that very strong, clear and fraction of a moment knowing. Knowing that they would never rise to the occasion and embrace the gifts God showered them with - which is, obviously, ultimate sin.
